Research Associate

Bantirani Patro is a Research Associate at the Centre for Air Power Studies, New Delhi. At the Centre, she is currently working on a book project tentatively titled: “From Kandahar to Waziristan: The Evolution of the Pakistani Taliban“. She is also a Network for Advanced Study of Pakistan Fellow (2024-25) at the Takshashila Institution, Bangalore. She holds a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Delhi, and has previously interned at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies, and the Indian Council of World Affairs. Her research interests include the Af-Pak region with a broader focus on South Asian politics. She can be reached at: [email protected]
