Mr Jay Desai

Research Associate

Jay Desai is a Research Associate at the Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS), New Delhi. At CAPS he is working on the topic Missiles in International Security: Understanding the Developments in Strategic Missiles and their Impact on International Security. He completed his Masters Degree in International Relations by specializing in Security Studies from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar. He has published 24 articles in The KootneetiThe Print (Campus Voice and Yourturn), Stimson Center, Journal of International Studies etc. In 2018, he undertook a course on Security Studies at Technion in Haifa (Israel) while simultaneously studying Aerospace Engineering. The course was taught by Prof. Jacob who was Former National Security Adviser to the Israeli Prime Minister. His B.Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and aerospace background will help him to bring together the technical and policy issues into his present study. Before joining CAPS, he was an intern at MP-IDSA for a short period, where he worked on Understanding SAARC with and without India.
